OK…. so here lately seeing all these so-called accurate studies on what religions people are (some basing the entire USA on…. wait for it…. 1000 people!), and others saying people are really, really religious! They’re going to church every single week (despite people monitoring the actual church attendance showing otherwise)! And some even show that people are so religious that they all believe the same things (despite some not believing the bible, and some thing Jesus was made up [yet they're "Christian"])…
We’ve decided to do an actual study. That’s right… and actual one. One that we want everyone in the world (USA Mainly) to fill out. Or at least the more the better. Now while we don’t want to ask for any really confidential information, we will ask for some things (and store your IP address) to try and keep them somewhat unique. What we mean is this: we’ll accept 10 million responses from the same IP, but in the end, we’ll provide results from unique IP addresses as well (so you’ll only be counted once).
Given the complexity of this poll, we can’t use any standard plugin. So we’re using our own form to do it. Now it’s still us (see the url), it just won’t have the same “blog format” as this and all other pages here have.
Why is this here on a political like blog? Simple. People all over are saying how the United States is a “Christian” nation (constitution, etc saying otherwise), and want all our laws based on it. But as it’s said: religion running a government is only good if it’s your religion.
So please, help us and your fellow world people out! Answer the questions at our poll. And please, digg us or any of the other standard “digging” based things! The more people that fill this out, the more accurate it’ll be.
*NOTE: The poll is still in development, so stay tuned for now *
So what happens if you’ve got a brain hemorrhage, or other problem in your brain, that mirrors the symptoms of being “drunk” — such as stumbling or having problems talking?
Well if the police are cutting costs, and even the people who examine you (and don’t smell/see signs of intoxication) don’t step up, you’ll end up tossed in a jail cell where you’ll spend a number of your last hours, until relocated to a hospital where you could most likely die from lack of treatment.
(see: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1087394/Man-severe-brain-condition-died-locked-cell-drunk.html?ITO=1490)
How likely is it to happen? Who really knows. The chances of having a brain hemorrhage in the first place wouldn’t be that likely, and then the chances of being on the streets or someplace where they’d call the police instead of an ambulance would lessen that. But it having the possibility of happening is about as scary in a sense as waking up during surgery and feeling them cut into you.
As the holidays approach — we will have less and less to say most likely. Enjoy the season.
We’ve got nothing of interest to say.
There are people out there that have never voted. They’ve never even registered to vote. So it makes me wonder, if they don’t vote and register, by not voting does anyone care?
If you’re registered and you don’t vote, you show up as not voting. People know “hey, this person didn’t vote!” But if you’re not even registered, do we really know how many aren’t? Not registered and not voting might only mean they don’t care, or they don’t like the candidates. But if you’re registered and don’t vote, it most likely means you don’t like the candidates.
It almost seems that if people were automatically registered to vote once they hit the age of being allowed to (or done so when they become a citizen or whatever else is required) — we’d have a more accurate representation of what people really think. Wouldn’t be that hard to get people registered either — go by ID cards or something. Make it so that whenever someone get’s a driver’s license, or just an ID card, they also have to register to vote.
Sarcasm is lost on the internet.
You could say “But she really loves you!” — yet online you can’t tell if I mean that to mean that she really does love you, or, she hates you and wants you to die a horrible, horrible death many times over. Sometimes, even when surrounded by other text, you still have no clue.
Over the past few months, and most likely until the end of time now (or as long as he’s mentioned in the history books), people will be dabating on many things about Obama… may most likely will be completely untrue, others will be plausible enough that they won’t be able to be proven “true” in the minds of some, nor “false” in the minds of other — no matter what’s decided.
The biggest thing right now is the “Was Obama an Indonesian citizen?”, “was he really Muslim”, or even “was he even born in the USA?” The world may never get an answer to these that satisfies all.
And perhaps the biggest question of them all, assuming he is elected president by the actual people that vote on it, “will his ability to be president ever stop being questioned even after his 4 years are up?”
