Peg in the Machine

Every so often, we end up backdating posts.  This means we do a post one day (say Friday the 19th), but list the post date as sometime in the past, like the 7th.  It happens.  It doesn’t mean that we’re intentionally trying to deceive you or anything, just that we want one post per day, and it gets to be hard to have a normal life, work, and other things going on all while we maintain posts here.

This is a spacer post — meaning we were either really busy this day, or we didn’t have time to actually post anything.  While we normally just backdate posts, there are times where there’s just nothing other than “the same old stuff” that’s going on, or we’re just way too behind on other things.

This is just a quick note to all of my readers: if you have anything to say, and you generally agree with the “key values” here (or of the Green Party), please contact me. I’m wanting to get other writers here to write articles (once a week would be helpful). As this blog is meant to have one post a day — it gets to be extremely time consuming to come up with something fairly new and current when life happens.

There wasn’t anything wrong with Joomla… it worked… in fact I spent probably 3 days getting things working right and such.  However, I thought I’d try this one instead as it seems more widely used.  That and I really wasn’t going to keep the old posts on the old site, everything was going to be redesigned – and the old template someone managed to hide the login form.

So I switched over to this one instead.  I’m not planning on doing any major things to this site — so you should be safe to add comments, link to posts, etc.  If you happen to want something from the old site — I still have the info, I just wasn’t going to keep it here.
